Far InfraRed Sauna and it’s Benefits

Uncategorized
Is the Infrared Sauna better than a Traditional Sauna? Supporters of infrared saunas say the heat penetrates more deeply than warmed air. This allows you to experience a more intense sweat at a lower temperature, s well as stay in the sauna longer. There's nothing quite like a 20 minute sweat session in a sauna. You feel more relaxed and rested after you're done, and the heat helps relieve sore muscles and improves your overall health and well-being. But if the high temperatures of a traditional sauna are just too much for you to handle, an infrared sauna may offer the benefits of a sauna without the extreme heat. What is an infrared sauna? Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don't heat the air around you. Instead, they use infrared lamps (that use electromagnetic ra...

Feelings Buried Alive Never Die

Uncategorized
I like many would not confront all my feelings brought on by life itself. I, as I think back on my life was raised in what could be called an "eclectic" household. Staunchly Catholic yet beyond dysfunctional and so many mixed messages it was hard to keep them straight as a child, teen, young adult. Through the years I would learn that those unresolved emotions would be the contributing factor in the choices I would make. As a side note some of these choice I would make again, simply for the beautiful daughter I have been honored to raise and for my son, who was a challenge to raise however, I miss so much. I was blessed with an Aunt and Uncle who gave me a different perspective on life, a spiritual esoteric way besides the religious Catholic version. Spiritually, just made sense to...

Not a Placebo: Scientific Evidence Exists for Homeopathy

Uncategorized
As you will read in the article :Prince Charles tried to reverse the UK's decision and failed.....as the Royal family has always used Homeopathy this should even be more evidence how powerful homeopathy is and how badly they want to discredit it.... Now for the article: Getting through the most difficult times of COVID, it has become increasingly clear that the key to enhancing our good health is by boosting and balancing our own immunity. We are not necessarily promoting the precise therapies of homeopathy, but rather offering a different angle of understanding the subtleness and multi-faceted nature of the human body.   An article titled “Homeopathy” published in 1989 in Yoga Journal described one case in which a woman suffering from lupus was cured by h...

60-80% of Disease Is Related to This, and Your Personality Type Shows It

Uncategorized
Editor’s note: There are many personality typing systems, and those various types generally fall into these four categories. We have summarized the emotional pitfalls of each “type” and explained their causative relationship with disease; it is possible to identify with traits across types, as well as the respective ailments. Read on for an in-depth explanation on the generation and material nature of emotions, and tips on how to process them in a healthy way. We are exposed to more and more toxins in our daily lives. In addition to physical toxins (e.g. radiation), chemical toxins (e.g. plasticizers, pesticides and benzene) and biological toxins (e.g. viruses and bacteria), there is another type of toxin, namely, emotional toxins. Emotional toxins can be even mor...

The Winter Solstice and Your Health

Uncategorized
The holiday season is a crazy time for many people. What should be a joyous and revitalizing time of year actually makes some cringe with the thought of endless shopping, meaningless events to attend, obligations, and a feeling of being overwhelmed. The commercialization and craziness of the holidays are certainly one reason we feel stressed out during this time of the year.  There is another reason that many of us struggle with the holidays, and we have to look to Chinese medicine and the theory of Yin and Yang to understand it. The concept of Yin and Yang is a way of describing the world around us.  Yang represents things that are sunny, light, warm, and active.  In contrast, Yin describes things that are relatively cooler, darker, rejuvenating, and nourishing. ...

Seeing the Gift in Hardship

Uncategorized
There are a number of common deterrents to creating powerful change in your life: Feeling that the effort is pointless Resisting the effort Frustration with yourself or others Disliking the activity Feeling an urge or compulsion to do the old habit Each of these can derail your efforts to create something new. And to be clear, there’s nothing wrong with any of these—they’re wonderfully human traits. But to create powerful change, we have to learn to work with them. I’d like to introduce a magical tool that I call “seeing the gift.” If you deploy seeing the gift, you can work with any of the above deterrents. Let’s take a look. What’s ‘Seeing the Gift’? In any activity, in any person, you can find a gift. Sometimes it’s obvious—the person in fr...

Listing three blessings every day in a gratitude journal creates a habit of thankfulness for the small moments that bring joy.

Uncategorized
The Healing Power of Gratitude The holiday season provides an annual reminder to pause and be grateful for all we have. That reminder is needed and helpful because it’s human nature to focus instead on all of the things we don’t have. The culture we live in bombards us with messages that we should have more, do more, and be more. Driven strongly by social media and advertisements, we’re conditioned to believe that what we have isn’t enough. That’s a recipe for discontent, depression, and despair. That’s also why it’s so important to incorporate gratitude into our lives during the holidays—and every day throughout the year. As a mental health professional for 35 years, I’ve counseled hundreds of people struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship problems, and o...

‘This Is My Family’: An American’s Story Defending Freedom in China and US

Uncategorized
This is a very long read....you may need two cups of coffee and or tea....and maybe a snack, however it is well worth it..... For 54 years, China wasn’t on Gail Rachlin’s radar. Then, in the fall of 1997, it entered her life unexpectedly. At a health expo at New York City’s Javits Center, she was looking for business opportunities and health solutions for herself and noticed a young man at a booth. A former public relations (PR) executive, she had moved on to running her own PR business. She was good at reading people, and his energy stood out to her. “What do you sell?” she said as she walked up to him, thinking it was vitamin pills. “No,” the man said, laughing, “This is free.” “Nothing’s free in New York!” she replied. Sure enough, the young man taught her...

Probiotics Are Becoming a New Front in Fighting Cancer

Uncategorized
These microbial residents of the gut play a deciding role in many disease pathologies, research suggests If you’re like most people, you think of probiotics—“good” live bacteria that keep your gut healthy—as something that might be added to your yogurt or taken with antibiotics to protect your intestinal microbiome from being compromised. This view of probiotics often extends to “prebiotics“—fiber-rich foods that the good bacteria in your gut “eat”—and “postbiotics”—substances released by the probiotics. But as researchers study the relatively new science of gut microbiota, they’re finding that probiotics have many complex and valuable actions. Probiotics biotransform nutrients and fight toxins and pathogens in the body, they affect mood and body ...

Traditional Chinese Medicine a New Way to Treat ‘Long COVID’: Japanese Physicians

Uncategorized
A side note before going into the article.... Traditional Chinese Medicine does not recognize cancer, diabetes, lupus....etc., TCM recognizes imbalances that would cause the body to develop these health challenges. For instance....The liver is an organ that in good health runs cool, if the liver for any reason, drugs, alcohol, wrong foods, anger issues starts to run hot then the chi (energy) of the liver will push upwards and one will have tension in the neck and shoulder area, will feel like there are hot pokers behind their eyes, headaches, trouble sleeping. However, if the liver is cooled down then the chi (energy) reverses and runs downward into the colon area to be dispelled. When the liver is running hot chiropractic adjustments will not help, it's not an adjustment issue....
