What Is A “Cultural Myth”

When you look around in the 21st Century the only medicine practiced in the hospitals is Medical.

The only medicine your insurance pays for is medical.

The only medicine they teach in school is medical.

TV shows are always based on medical medicine.

The only other medicine, when talked about is taled disparagingly, those “quacks” those naturopaths, those chiropractors…..quacks….quacks….all of them they are dangerous….

Do you know what ad hominem is? They are arguments that do not argue the facts, an ad hominem arguments disparage people. When you debate people, like politicians, they don’t argue with facts, they tend to slur and slander the competitors, and this is what has happened here for the last 100 years or more.

The only medicine practiced in any hospital is MD medicine. The only medicine they study in Universities is MD medicine. The only money given in research is MD medicine, therefore MD’s must be better than everyone else, this is a logical conclusion and therefore we conclude that MD’s hold the monopoly on MD medicine because their therapeutic are better, more scientific therapeutics are more scientific, their therapeutics are more affordable (insurance) and nothing could be further from the truth.

The MD doctors occupy the No. 1 position in medicine not because their therapeutics are better they have simply slated themselves into power and they have aggressively kept all other medical practitioners off the playing field. This all happen in the year before most of us were even born, today.

The term allopathic medicine (the medicine that is practiced today) was coined in 1810 by Samuel Hahneman who coined the phrase “allopathic” to differentiate homeopathic practices from conventional medicine, based on the types of treatments used.

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian medical system that has survived since the beginning of antiquity when man discovered that nature had a solution to his problems by the first herb he used to treat himself.

The main focus of allopathic medicine is to treat symptoms and diseases using drugs, radiation or surgery.

Scribings on the walls of the pyramids show how they treated people with oils and herbs. Roman civilization had archaic in today’s standards, however in the Roman days it would be considered very modern, colonic apparatuses. Even on the pyramid walls they have pictures of people receiving colon therapy.

My point is alternative medicine has been around since the beginning of time. *******

Did you know that before the Civil War John D Rockefeller, who was just a boy at the time along with his father “Big Bill” Rockefeller was a “quack” physician selling bottles of creosote to cancer patients for $25.00 dollars apiece and the family was forced to move a lot, you think the price of the bottle and the fact it was snake oil and probably killed more than ever saved anyone….

Years after the war John D was getting started in the oil business when he met two brothers, Simon the older brother was recruited from the medical faculty at Johns Hopkins University in 1903, he organized the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research. His younger brother Abraham was a teacher and was recruited by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and they gave him the task of compiling a comprehensive study of mecial education in America.

Now at this time, there were far more Holistic/Alternative (even though that phrase was not used at that time) schools than there were Allopathic ones, and the brothers along with backing from Rockefeller and Carnegie set out to change all that.

In 1910 they created the Flexner Report and systematically went about shutting down any school that didn’t correspond to their way of thinking about medicine. Funds were withheld and most schools went bankrupt. This is how the Cultural Myth began as people were only given the facts on Medical Doctors and told that all others were Quacks and uneducated people.

All approaches to healing besides the Medical approach were discouraged and soon people succumbed to the belief that Medical was the only way. “Reality through Consensus”

Even Native American healing traditions would fall by the wayside, though they worked they were considered barbaric and useless.

Now, don’t put words into this article that isn’t there….medicine has a place in everyone’s life, just not on a daily basis. If you have an accident you better hope you have the surgical team of Chicago Hope, ER, and Grey’s Anatomy ready and onboard. If MD’s were taught as they are in the alternative schools they would address daily problems with diet, meditation, patient responsibility, hydration, herbal combinations, they would be willing to join forces allopathic/Wholistic.

What happened was Rockefeller and Carnegie knew the money was in pharmaceutical products and they have never been able to recreate in a laboratory what God has freely given to us in herbal formulas.

Let me give you an example: Bayer Asprin has tried for years to recreate White Willow. I use White Willow because it has natural salicylic acid, which is the basis of Bayer aspirin. Used as White Willow it will relieve your pain with no side effects. Bayer aspirin taken over time will cause bleeding in the stomach and other side effects. We have Fox Glove for digitalis, Chapperal (no longer available) to actually cure cancer (now you know why it’s not available) and the list goes on.

Rockefeller and Carnegie decided along with the Flexner boys, if it isn’t created in our labs it will be discouraged on all levels of medicine.

The type of treatments I believe in has been around since the beginning of time, Allopathic for about 150 years….that is why they still have to practice it.
